“Ardbeg distillery”
Jasper van der MeijArdbeg Distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery on the south coast of the isle of Islay, Argyll and Bute, Scotland, in the Inner Hebrides group of islands.
Ardbeg claims to be the peatiest Islay whisky and uses malted barley sourced from the maltings in Port Ellen. It is one of the fastest growing Islay distilleries.
“Reynisdrangar - Iceland”
Arnold van WijkReynisdrangar are basalt sea stacks situated under the mountain Reynisfjall near the village Vík í Mýrdal, southern Iceland.
According to legend the Reynisdrangar needles were formed when two trolls were trying to drag a three-masted ship to land. When daylight broke they turned to stone. The Needles can be seen clearly from the village of Vík and are 66 meters above sea level at their highest. In one of the many caves here ? there is a local legend about a monster having lived here for many centuries. The monster seems to have disappeared after a landslide over 100 years ago?

After the coastline had receded seaward (it is now at a distance of about 5 km from Skogar), the former sea cliffs remained, parallel to the coast over hundreds of kilometers, creating together with some mountains a clear border between the coastal lowlands and the Highlands of Iceland.
The Skogafoss is one of the biggest waterfalls of the country with a width of 25 meters and a drop of 60 meters. Due to the amount of spray the waterfall consistently produces, a single or double rainbow is normally visible on sunny days.

“Dettifoss - Iceland”
Arnold van WijkDettifoss is a waterfall in Jökulsárgljúfur National Park of Northeast Iceland, not far from Mývatn. It is situated on the Jökulsá á Fjöllum river, which flows from the Vatnajökull glacier and collects water from a large area in Northeast Iceland. The falls are 100 m wide and have a drop of 44 m down to the Jökulsárgljúfur canyon. It is the largest waterfall in Europe in terms of volume discharge, having an average water flow of 200 m3/s. The waterfall can only be reached by a rough road.
