Geboren in A'dam 8 jan1936 I received a scholarship from the Dutch Government in able to study at the Rijks Akademie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. My first teacher started with art after nude-model. He was Gé Röling, father of the famous painter Marte Röling and an excellent master. But I met my future husband and end september1958, having finished the season at the Academy my man, Nils Tellander and I got married in Amsterdam. Our honeymoon was the journey back 'home' towards his house in Lausanne, Switzerland. But Nils agreed when our son was born, that as soon as he would be ready for boarding school I should continue studying my art in Italy, in Florence, where in 1970 I started studying ETCHING at an American Highschool. I exhibited in Holland, France, Switzerland, Italy and even went to Singapore in 1994. As I am 80 years old now I count myself lucky I painted many portraits, but also was accepted in several Musea, in Musée Jenisch with 50 etchings (Cabinet cantonale des Estampes) . In Venlo Museum Bommel v Dam and in River Forest US are kept a number of etchings. Héliogravure was my speci-ality after lessons from Luis Camnitzer (MoMA New-York). Photo-etching work of my hand is in Musée de l'Elysée in Lausanne. Photo-etchings are based on a difficult, ancient photo-technique. Anyway, the last 20 years I paint outside, landscape , old houses and vine-yards, olive groves/often feminine nude in oil or paint after orders from my Commune Vaud in Swiss Ollon.
