Hi, my name is Dani. I’m a self employed photographer since 2009. Over the years I have worked for clients like Batavus, Volkskrant magazine, StayOkay, Buitenleven magazine, Kek mama, Knippie, Jij & je kinderen, Time to Momo, Bobbinhood, several modeling agencies, Wobbel and many more.
With a love for all things authentically creative and a soft spot for beauty and design there’s one particular moment when I feel the joy and that’s when I hold my camera. Strolling through an unfamiliar city looking for hidden gems or working with a team to create the images we have in our minds. I love to work with people, small ones, creative ones, models, the ones that don’t realize how beautiful they are and the unexpected ones. But I also love the process after the photos have been made, to flip through the images on my screen and make them look even better while listening to Dolly Parton. I prefer to work on location with daylight but on occasion I will shoot in studio’s as well. Either way, I will always search for beautiful light and connection with my subject while gently guiding into the direction of my mind.
I mostly do commissioned work but being able to make free work is always a pleasure. Some of the results will be available here, at Werk aan de Muur.
