Hi my name is Lauryn :) Photography is a way for me to slow down and give attention to moments that often go unnoticed. Rather than focusing on major events, my work centres on quiet scenes, shifting light, and small details within everyday environments.
My practice grows from curiosity and observation. By looking carefully and allowing time, I aim to create images that evoke calm and leave space for personal interpretation. Light plays an important role in this process, not only as a means of revealing a scene, but often as a subject in itself.
Through my photography, I invite the viewer to pause and look differently at the familiar. The images are meant to linger, without demanding attention.
