"I see art where nature reveals itself.
Every work holds what would otherwise fade,
a shadow, a leaf, a fleeting light.
By preserving what is temporary,
my work makes the essence visible."
I grew up on the island of Texel, surrounded by sea, wind and endless fields. This island shaped me in ways I only came to understand much later. Nature became both my refuge and my teacher: a place of transformation and healing.
I’ve always had an artistic eye, sensing layers and details that often go unseen. In a period of stillness and change, I began to notice art in the smallest moments: the curve of a stem, the light across skin, the movement of shadow. Photographing them felt like a way to give shape to what I see inside, and to share that way of seeing with others.
I let myself be guided by what calls me: sometimes subtle, sometimes raw. My work is a dialogue with my source, made visible through the forms of the natural world.
In every image I search for a moment that feels brief, yet stays alive once captured.
