Over Fotografie licht in de natuur

Ik ben Jan, fotograaf uit de regio Veenendaal–Rhenen. Mijn beelden ontstaan tijdens de momenten van rust die ik vind in de natuur. Als vader van drie kinderen, waaronder één met een beperking, weet ik hoe waardevol het vinden van rust in de natuur is. In mijn foto’s zoek ik daarom naar verstilling, aandacht en de schoonheid van het kleine: een bospad in de ochtendmist, een reflectie van een boom in het water, een landschap met liggende koeien. Mijn werk is eerlijk, rustig en sfeervol.

I’m Jan, a photographer from the Veenendaal–Rhenen region. My images are created in the quiet moments I find in nature — places where I can slow down and reconnect with stillness. As a father of three children, including one with a disability, I know how valuable those moments of calm truly are. That’s why I look for stillness, attention, and the beauty of small things in my photography: a forest path in the morning mist, the reflection of a tree in the water, a peaceful landscape with resting cows. My work is honest, tranquil, and atmospheric.
