Wildlife and nature photographer Stijn Schepers spent his childhood on the lookout for amphibians, reptiles and birds. Surprised by the many treasures of nature in his own area, he grew out to be an explorer, learning new things on every location.He combined his passion for documenting fauna, flora and landscape with a quest for global exploration and thus learning the secrets of nature. In stead of getting caught by the rush of life, he searches for the essence of being part of beautiful places around the world.?We need to slow down and be in the moment. Not only to see, but to experience what nature has to offer. I hope that by looking at my photographs people will get inspired by the gifts surrounding us in our everyday lives. We have to respect mother nature because we all need her in our own way."
