I was born in November 1976 and have grown up in the former Eastern Germany. Photography has been faciniating to me already as a little child. That was more than 30 years ago and in these days I was very proud of my PRAKTIKA film camera. Unfortunately I didn't keept it but I still know that I've shot b/w film and this were amazing times.
Since then I've traveled to more than 20 countries all over the world which shows clearly my second passion: traveling. Of all the countries I have been traveling to, I have been to Namibia the most. Currently living in South Africa makes it easy to get there and I'm strictly addicted to Namibias wide open and unique landscapes and the wildlife in Southern Africa in general. There is nothing best than overlooking vast wild plains with a sundowner or to dive deeply into the sand dune-scape of the Namib desert and to sleep under this incredible starry sky.
