Toys "R" Us, Times Square, NYC van Dick Schoenmakers

The Toys "R" Us store on Times Square, captured in panoramic photography, fascinates me. The fact that there's a Ferris wheel inside the store makes it even more remarkable. For me, this embodies America as the land of limitless possibilities. The bold choice to prominently place a Ferris wheel in a store speaks to the creativity and quirkiness that I often associate with American culture. It's an expression of the idea that anything is possible in this country. The Ferris wheel in a toy store at an iconic location like Times Square is, for me, a symbol of the playful and innovative spirit that characterizes America. It's an invitation to enjoy the wonders that the country has to offer, even within the walls of a store.
